Canadian Network on Corporate Accountability (CNCA)

Uniting almost thirty civil society organizations, the CNCA provides an effective forum for collaborative research, advocacy and public education work regarding the overseas activities of Canadian companies. The network’s Open for Justice campaign seeks to improve access to remedy in Canada for the foreign victims of corporate abuse. The CNCA was the civil society focal point to the National Roundtable process on the Canadian extractive industry and led civil society efforts in support of Bill C-300. Above Ground is an original and active member of the CNCA Steering Committee. We provide the network with legal and policy expertise, strategic orientation and important links to international allies and processes.
